praxi5 (p5) was established in 2013 to serve as an umbrella entity for Belizean consultants to collaborate, share knowledge and develop solutions for local and international clients. After several years of collaboration as independent consultants, the group decided it was time to establish a firm that would expand the scope of services being provided backed by a robust organizational capacity.

The name of the firm is derived from the word PRAXIS – the practical application of theoretical knowledge followed by reflection. Our consulting team’s track record as both practitioners and technicians allows for practical approaches and theoretical considerations to be fused into solution-based planning for sustainable results. A major strength of our firm is that our consultants have diverse and multi-disciplinary academic backgrounds and applied experiences. Each consultant in the firm holds a Master’s Degree in the development field and has over 10 years of practical expertise in various sectors. In addition to technical knowledge and skills, our team brings a contextual understanding of Belizean society and the various social and economic factors that affects Belize’s development. Our consultants have also worked with urban and rural communities and groups across Belize in promoting biodiversity conservation, economic and institutional development.
