OffGridBox works to provide electricity and clean water to people across Africa. The OffGridBox is an all in one, compact system that provides electricity and clean water. The box is able to fit in a 6x6x6 feet shipping container. The box has solar panels attached at the top which power the water purification system, is easy to setup, and can serve up to 1500 people per unit. It is also sturdy, efficient, and cost effective. OffGridBox charges an initial investment fee (due to shipping and installation costs) and later, a monthly service fee which covers remote monitoring. Companies and NGOs finance OffGridBox.
