Luxelare provides agro-insurance services utilizing a software platform which creates an easy to use digital solution for developing, implementing and operating index-based insurance products to small/medium sized farmers. Luxelare also provides farmers with remote sensing and agricultural input information to better manage their crops.

Luxelare's first service, an information platform, does several things. The platform provides several different types of information to farmers including climate related forecasts, extreme temperature and rainfall alerts, satellite imagery, logistics, and expenses. The digitalization and centralization of such information allows farmers to keep track of their land and their crop with ease. This information also ties into Luxelare's Agro-Insurance service. Through the digitization of Agro-Insurance, Luxelare is able to help farmers protect their crops and livelihood with greater ease and efficiency. Through the digitization of the process, Luxelare is able to make it easier to make claims and build insurance plans. Captum, Luxelare's insurance platform, is also able to forecast the conditions of a claim up to a week in advance. When it comes to verifying claims, Captum is able to validate and survey the damage sustained to the land with the aid of satellite imagery. Finally, Captum keeps an accurate digital log of claims and policies for the convenience of the client.
