KOFAR Ltd is a social enterprise that processes fortified compost from vegetative waste and sells this as a product with soil conditioners to reverse acidity, boost moisture retention and increase quality yields for farmers.

These products balance soil pH, unlocks nutrients, increases humus which in turn boosts moisture retention. This increases microbial life in the soil, improving fertility and increasing production of food per unit area at a rate that is affordable and sustainable. We train farmers on the connection between abused soils and the low poor quality yields. After training the farmers on good soil practices, we then introduce our soil conditioning products to reverse the effects of poor farming practices and return the soils to its natural state. This enables farmers to repair and improve soils for increased resilience and food productivity
