Green Dreams TECH's product iCow is a mobile-based agricultural platform providing farmers services and data to help increase productivity based on good agricultural practices.

Farmers access iCow via their mobile phones and receive agricultural content via SMS. The service is available in Kenya and Tanzania in English and Kiswahili and in Ethiopia in Amharic, Tigrigna & Oromiffa. Beyond agronomic advice, the application also connects farmers with input providers, agricultural financial service providers, veterinary experts, agricultural extension service providers, NGOs and the government. Research has shown that farmers using the iCow application for at least 3 months have increased milk yields by 1-3 liters per day resulting in a monthly income increase of $10-$30 per milking animal. Additionally, the application has helped farmers with increased egg production, bird health monitoring and mortality reduction in all livestock. By sharing industry best practices and advice, iCow's solution can help farmers tackle the growing problem of food insecurity and become more resilient to climate change and the impacts it is having on the food production value chain.
